Our Rooms Beija-Flor Beija-Flor named after the champion Samba School of Carnival 2007 and 2008 is a large ensuite room (private bathroom) with views to Cristo Redentor and Pedra Santa Marta, floor to ceiling wardrobes and ceiling fan. Beija-Flor can accommodate up to three people and can be configured to suit (double plus single, 3 singles etc)  Porta da Pedra Porta da Pedra is a large room with views to Cristo Redentor, Pedra Santa Marta and Sugar Loaf Mountain and has a terrace with hammocks, a shared bathroom, floor to ceiling wardrobes and a ceiling fan. Porta da Pedra can accommodate up to 4 people and can be configured to suit (double plus two singles, four singles etc) Mangueira Mangueira is standard double room with views to the Sugar Loaf Mountain and has a terrace with hammocks, a shared bathroom, floor to celing wardrobes and a ceiling fan. Mangueira can accommodate two people configured as a double or a twin.  Imperatriz Imperatriz is a standard room with a shared bathroom and ceiling fan. Imperatriz can accomodate up to three people configured as a twin, double plus single or three singles . Sambadromo  Named after the home of the famous Rio Carnival parades, the Sambadromo is a unique room that spans the entire length of the house and can accommodate up to 12 people. It is unique in that unlike many other shared rooms everyone has a single bed, an individual lockable bookcase / storage unit, bedside table and bedside lamp and power socket thereby offering plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The Sambadromo has plenty of storage space and two walk-in wardrobes. There are also two ensuite bathrooms available. It has huge panaoramic windows and there are views to Cristo Redentor and Pedra Santa Marta. The Sambadromo can be considered as an upmarket alternative to a hostel with the style and comfort of a guesthouse but for a very affordable price. |
